The Kestrel Anti-Ligature Slow Rise Spring Roller Blind operates on the slow-rise principle, to ensure that when the blind is released from its ratchet-stop, it will glide slowly and smoothly up to its fully open position. It is fitted with Kestrel magnetic suspension brackets that will release if an abnormal load, such as an attempted ligature, it applied to the blind, removing any ligature points. After the event, the blind can easily be refitted by simply placing it back onto the magnetic brackets.
